Allow Hypnosis to Help You with Weight Loss - Here’s Why (& How) it Works
Hypnosis is powerful. It is impactful. I am bold enough to say that it should be considered by anyone and everyone who decides the time is now to lose any undesired weight. To be clear, I am not a nutritionist nor a doctor. I am a certified hypnotist who understands the power of the mind when it comes to losing weight. I will not tell you what to eat. I will not have you logging macros. I will simply help you take back control where food is concerned.
Look, weight loss isn’t easy. It is a seemingly endless struggle for many. That’s why it’s a BILLION dollar industry. There are always new “diet programs” popping up. Someone always coming up with the next greatest plan. Here’s the thing. No matter what you do – weight loss comes down to your mindset. It comes down to you wanting to achieve a goal and sticking with it. 80% of weight loss comes down to your diet and 20% comes from exercise. So that is why what you put in your body, or more importantly, what you don’t put in your body is so incredibly important.
Hypnosis is used to train the subconscious to think negatively about overeating or unhealthy eating and to teach the mind to be more in tune with our natural feelings of hunger. I would argue that most of us don't even know what true hunger is anymore. We eat largely based on emotion. Or, we eat because we're pre-conditioned as children to "finish your plate, or eat all your dinner so you can have dessert." Or, we allow one slip up to sabotage the whole day or week. You know, the old, “well, I had that piece of chocolate cake, might as well eat the whole thing and start back up tomorrow. Or Monday. Or next week.” Sound familiar?
Enough of that!
Hypnosis works because it changes our way of thinking about food and eating. It teaches us to be more calm and relaxed in our lives. So instead of using food and eating as an emotional solution, it is simply an appropriate solution to hunger. Hypnosis works for weight loss because it enables us to separate food and eating from our emotions. We must eat mindfully, thoughtfully, intentionally. When you are in the proper mindset, food doesn’t control you. When you are in the proper mindset, eating properly and exercising is enjoyable and preferred. The feeling of good health far outweighs any temporary “fix” such as candy or chocolate. Eating properly and exercising is no longer a chore. It is your new way of life - your healthy lifestyle - allowing you to live life to the fullest and happiest.
See yourself at your goal weight, wearing those jeans, that bathing suit, or that outfit that you want to either fit back into or to purchase. See yourself at the next party or at the beach or pool and enjoying every minute. All the while taking in every compliment!!!!
What we believe, we become. Our words are our truth. I know it sounds cliché, but it is absolutely true. Tell yourself repeatedly that YOU, not food - YOU are in control. Tell yourself your desire to succeed, to hit your goal weight, to fit into that bathing suit or those jeans, is much stronger than any desire for crap food which has no nutritional value and in some cases, is actually poison for your body.
